ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH . . .
IN SAN FRANCISCO
SAN FRANCISCO'S #4 HISTORIC LANDMARK
FOUNDED IN 1851

As a downtown parish whose clientele is mainly transient. St. Patrick's is a different kind of parish. For the weekday Masses, and especially Tuesday, we are happy to welcome those who drop into St. Patrick's on their way to work or during their lunch hour or on their way home from work. San Francisco lays claim to being everyone's beloved city and St. Patrick's is not far behind in being the favorite church of many people from all over the Bay Area who drop by even when Mass is not being celebrated. Tourists from all the States and from many parts of the world feel at home within its walls.

  • A Parish, in its own modest way, is a sign and a tribute; a sign of God's presence among us and a tribute to the faith and courage of those who founded and supported it. A parish is also a tribute to those whose determination kept it alive. This parish has not been wanting in such people and MSGR. FRED AL BITANGA stands as a symbol of all of them.
